While the kids and I were in Nebraska for Christmas, we were able to make a quick trip down to Kansas City for about 4 days. We kept having to postpone our trip and reschedule our plans due to illness. Still on antibiotics, we eventually made it, even though we had to stop halfway through the trip to change two poopy blowout diapers and outfits! Other than that the trip went pretty smoothly. We also had to return to Lincoln earlier than planned due to a big snowstorm that was moving in. We stayed at my sister's house while we were in KC and were able to visit our friends the Glasers, the Melchers, and the Bleythings. I was able to meet up with my friend Camille one day, and also have lunch with a group of my friends from college just before we left. Although we were able to cram a lot into those four days, it didn't seem like nearly enough time to see all of our friends and family there. Hopefully next time we are there we will be healthy and won't have to worry about the weather :)

Brecken and sweet little Emma tearin' it up in her booster seat. She is a hoot when she eats!
Amber gave Jackson some fun new foods (Fruit Loops, Goldfish, Nilla Wafers) and I guess he really liked them because he signed "more" for the first time that night. Thanks, Amber :)
Emma on the go...
Sofie and Jackson had so much fun playing with all the fun toys in Brecken and Emma's playroom:
