On a brighter note, the babies have been sleeping about 7-8 hours at night on average. We are even starting to get some nights of sleeping 9-10 hours! Sofie rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time yesterday... she even did it while I was Skyping with my parents so they could see, too! I think she is starting to teethe. She is obsessed with putting her hands or toys in her mouth. She often sleeps on her side now so she can have easy access to her fingers and suck on them while she sleeps. Jackson loves to have "conversations" and babble back and forth with us. He is so strong - I think he will be an early sitter-upper!
Here are the stats from today...
Jackson
Weight: 14 pounds, 8 oz. (48th percentile)
Height: 25 in. (52nd percentile)
Head Circumference: 41.6 cm. (42nd percentile)
Sofie:
Weight: 13 pounds, 12 oz. (55th percentile)
Height: 24.25 in. (55th percentile)
Head Circumference: 41 cm. (50th percentile)
Here are a few fun pics from the last week:
Thanks, Camille and Mike, for the darling shirts with our names!

For the life of me I can't figure out why this one won't rotate... the saved file on my computer is rotated. Hmmm???
Cutie pies!
Being silly!
We enjoy tummy time much more than we used to!
Sofie LOVES the blue glow that the video monitor emits. We usually put her in her crib parallel to the sides of the crib, and she scoots herself around so she can just stare at the light until she falls asleep! We probably need to get the cameras mounted on the wall or one of these days before we know it the babies will be pulling them down!

They are great sizes! You can't ask for more than 50th percentile across the board!
ReplyDeleteI noticed in the last pic that Sofie was still swaddled. When Sam started rolling over from his back to his tummy we still had him swaddled too. One day we went in there in the morning and he had rolled over in his swaddler. It was kinda scary to think he didn't have his arms and legs to help him roll back. Just wanted to let you know just in case it helps!
