7 Week Sonogram - It's TWINS!

On August 4, 2009, we went to the doctor for our 7 week sonogram. When the sonogram started, the doctor was silent for the first 10 seconds or so, just staring at the screen. This seemed like an eternity to me and worried me a little. Before we knew it, he grinned and just said "TWINS." We got our first glimpse at 2 little sacs and 2 tiny heartbeats. At this point, the babies were each less than 1 cm (0.843 cm and 0.734 cm). Brian and I left the doctor's office on cloud 9. We couldn't have been more excited!

Here is our first glimpse at the babies. One sac looks quite larger than the other, but that is due to the angle of the ultrasound.
