6 Month Check Up

Last week we took Jackson and Sofie for their 6 month well baby check. The doctor thought they were right on track with everything which is always reassuring as a parent. Here are their stats:

Jackson:
Weight - 17 pounds, 7 ounces (~50th percentile)
Height - 27.25 inches (~75th percentile)
Head  - 44 cm (~50th percentile)

Sofie:
Weight - 16 pounds, 7 ounces (~50th percentile)
Height - 25.75 inches (~50th percentile)
Head - 43.5 cm (~75th percentile)

I forgot to ask for the exact percentiles. The doctor is usually more concerned with plotting their progress on the growth curve and showing us that. Everything fell almost right on the 50th percentile curve, except for Jackson's height and Sofie's head. Since birth, they have always been about a pound apart in weight.

Last week we also had the babies' 6 month pictures taken. These are some pictures I snapped at home before we went to the outdoor photo shoot...

They still love books more than most of their toys.

Last week on game day they wore their K-State outfits. This past Saturday they wore their Nebraska Husker shirts from Papa and Nana York!

Speaking of grandparents, happy Grandparent's Day to all of the grandparents out there... and of course to Sofie and Jackson's four wonderful grandparents! We love you guys and miss you lots.
